GrowthDay's own pages name Ed Mylett, Mel Robbins, Trent Shelton, Lisa Bilyeu, Natalie Ellis and material from the late Wayne Dyer, and the annual offer page adds Lewis Howes and Dr. Daniel Amen. Several of these people sell their own programs for hundreds of dollars elsewhere, so the honest bull case is not "$49 for Burchard", it is "$49 for a curated shelf of well-known teachers in one login".

One caution about the roster: names on a sales page tell you who contributed content, not how much of it there is or how recent it is. Some lists online still include people who no longer appear on GrowthDay's current pages. If one specific teacher is your reason to subscribe, use the trial to find their material before day 7.

What Do Users Actually Say? The Ratings Gap Explained

GrowthDay's ratings look contradictory until you notice who is doing the rating:

App Store: 4.8 stars from about 2,300 ratings.
Google Play: 4.8 stars from about 1,200 reviews, with over 100,000 downloads.
Trustpilot: 2.5, but from only 5 reviews, all 1-star, none in the last 12 months, on an unclaimed profile.

The app store numbers come from people using the app, and the praise is consistent: the Daily Fire audio, the morning routine it creates, and the sense of having a coach in your ear. 2. The upselling

3. The price, and billing after the trial

$49 a month is at the top of the category, and the trial requires a card and converts automatically. The criticism above is real, and so is the case for the app. Four things it does better than most of the category:

It is built for the doing, not the knowing. Most personal development products are libraries you browse. GrowthDay's core is a small daily routine with a streak, which is the mechanism that actually changes behavior for a lot of people.
It has a voice. One coach, every morning, with a consistent framework. For people who respond to a person rather than a curriculum, that is the whole value.
Live sessions create appointments. A monthly live seminar and weekly live classes are fixed times with other people present, which a recorded course cannot replicate.
The library is wide. Mindset, health, relationships, money and productivity from well-known teachers, so you are not paying for one person's view on everything.

Is GrowthDay a Scam or Legit?

Legit, and it is worth being precise, because the word "scam" gets used loosely for anything expensive. GrowthDay has a named, public founder with a long track record, contributors who publicly associate themselves with it, published prices, a free trial, a stated refund policy, and thousands of ratings averaging 4.8 on both app stores.

None of that means it is worth your money. "Legitimate" and "worth it" are separate questions, and conflating them is how people end up in a subscription they resent.
