How Much Does GrowthDay Really Cost in 2026?
GrowthDay costs $49 a month after a 7-day free trial, or $499 a year. But you will also find $29, $249 and $299 quoted online, a separate "Year of Mastery" at $499, and programs above it up to $15,000. Here is every price, where it comes from, and what each one actually buys.

The App Store lists a few more in-app price points ($49.99 a month and $49.99 or $299.99 a year under different plan names). GrowthDay does not publish a side by side of what each in-app tier includes, so if you subscribe on your phone, read the plan description on the purchase screen before you confirm. The web checkout also notes that prices may be subject to VAT and other applicable taxes, so outside the US the total can be higher than the headline price.
Why Do GrowthDay Prices Look Different Everywhere?
If you searched "GrowthDay cost" and got four different answers, you were not imagining it. There are three separate reasons:
- Web and app store prices are different products. The website sells the $49 a month plan. The App Store sells in-app subscriptions with their own names and prices, including a $29 Pro tier and a $299 annual. Neither page mentions the other.
- Old reviews never got updated. Figures like $249 a year, $299 a year as the main price, or a 14-day trial come from older articles. None of them appear on GrowthDay's current web pages.
- Offer pages come and go. GrowthDay runs campaign pages such as the Year of Mastery, with their own framing and extras. Some old campaign pages stay online after the offer has ended, and they still show up in search.
The practical rule: the price that counts is the one on your checkout screen, on the channel you are using. If you want the web price, subscribe on the web.
What Does the $49 a Month Include?
The core subscription includes everything GrowthDay markets as the app:
- The Daily Fire coaching audio from Brendon Burchard
- Guided journaling, daily planning and check-ins
- Habit tracking and the "5 to Thrive" streaks with leaderboards
- The course library, which GrowthDay puts at 2,000+ hours and 400+ classes from 31+ coaches
- A monthly 2-hour live seminar with Burchard, plus weekly live classes and challenges
- Brendon AI, the 24/7 AI coach, by text or voice
- Growth groups and the member community
GrowthDay's sales page adds up these parts to a "total value" of $9,000 and values Brendon AI alone at $999. Treat those as marketing anchors, not prices anyone pays. What you pay is $49 a month, and the useful question is whether you would use the daily routine, not whether the anchor is accurate.
What Is the Year of Mastery, and Is It Different From the Annual Plan?
The Year of Mastery is GrowthDay's annual offer at $499, presented as "reduced from previous $2,000 programs". According to its offer page in September 2026, it includes a monthly 2-hour live training with Brendon Burchard, one 1:1 session with a Certified High Performance Coach, and Brendon AI, backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee. That page does not mention a free trial.
The annual plan sold through the referral page is a different package. Its checkout, in September 2026, reads "free for 7 days, then just $499 a year" and lists the growth streaks app, Brendon AI, the all-access library of 400+ classes and 40 courses, Ed Mylett's Monday Motivation sessions and Burchard's First Friday live seminar. It lists no 1:1 coaching session. So the two $499 annual offers are not the same: the Year of Mastery adds the coach session and drops the free trial, while the referral annual keeps the trial and leaves the session out.
On value: a single 1:1 session with a certified coach is a genuine extra, and it is the only thing we found that makes an annual plan more than a discount. If it matters to you, make sure it appears on the checkout screen you are looking at.
Is the Annual Plan Worth It Over Monthly?
The arithmetic: twelve months at $49 is $588. The annual plan is $499, so you save $89, about 15%. That is a real saving, but not the kind that justifies committing to a daily habit product you have not proven you will use daily.
Most people who regret GrowthDay regret the annual plan specifically. They bought twelve months of intention on the strength of three enthusiastic days. The safer sequence costs you at most about $15 extra:
- Use the 7-day trial and count how many days you actually opened the app.
- If it is four or five out of seven, pay monthly for one or two months.
- If the habit survives the second month, switch to annual.
One warning from the Terms of Use: any plan change during the trial ends the trial immediately and starts billing. Do not switch to annual on day 3 to "lock in" the price.
What Upsells Should You Expect Inside GrowthDay?
This is the most consistent complaint in GrowthDay reviews, and it belongs on a pricing page. The subscription is the entry point of a ladder:

You can ignore every rung above the subscription, and the app works fully without them. But budget honestly: if you are the kind of person who buys what is being pitched, your real annual cost is not $499. Decide your ceiling before you start the trial, not after the third email.
How Does GrowthDay's Price Compare?

Older comparisons put Mindvalley at $199 a year and called GrowthDay 2.5 times more expensive. That is no longer true in the US, where Mindvalley's membership page shows $499 a year in September 2026, the same as GrowthDay. Mindvalley prices by region and its own FAQ still says $399, so the gap depends on where you live. Monthly, GrowthDay is the cheaper of the two.
How Do Cancelling and Refunds Work?
There are two separate protections, and both are stated where it counts:
- The 7-day trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. GrowthDay's Terms say that if you cancel before the first invoice after the trial is processed, you will not be charged.
- The 30-day refund. The checkout page itself shows a 30-day money-back guarantee, and GrowthDay's FAQ promises a full refund in that window, no questions asked. Its Terms of Use, last updated August 7, 2024, call fees non-refundable except as provided in the Terms, described at checkout, or required by law, and a guarantee shown at checkout falls inside that exception.
So the guarantee is part of the deal, not just a marketing line. Protect yourself anyway: screenshot the guarantee on your checkout screen, and make any refund request in writing to support@growthday.com, keeping the reply.

Why do I see $299 or $249 for GrowthDay elsewhere?
$299 is a real in-app purchase on the App Store, not the web price. $249 appears in some third-party reviews and nowhere on GrowthDay's own pages, so treat it as outdated. Prices differ by channel and change over time, so check the one on your own checkout screen.
Is the annual plan worth it over monthly?
Only once you know you use the app daily. $499 a year works out to about $41.58 a month, a saving of $89 over twelve monthly payments, roughly 15%. The safer order is trial first, a month or two on monthly, then annual.
Does GrowthDay have hidden fees?
No fees are hidden in the subscription itself. What catches people is the automatic conversion after the trial and the promotion of separate programs, from a $39 add-on offered right at checkout to a $15,000 coaching certification. None of those are required, and the checkout box stays unticked unless you tick it.
Can I get a refund on GrowthDay?
Yes, within 30 days. GrowthDay's checkout shows a 30-day money-back guarantee, and its Terms of Use, which otherwise call fees non-refundable, make an exception for refunds described at checkout. Screenshot the guarantee when you pay, and request the refund in writing at support@growthday.com.
Is GrowthDay more expensive than Mindvalley?
Not on the annual plan in the US anymore: Mindvalley's membership page shows $499 a year there, the same as GrowthDay's annual. Monthly, GrowthDay is cheaper at $49 against Mindvalley's $99. Mindvalley prices by region, so it can be lower where you live.
Is GrowthDay Worth the Price, in One Paragraph?
$49 a month is a premium price in this category, and GrowthDay does not pretend otherwise. It is justifiable if you use the daily routine every day and it replaces things you would otherwise buy. It is poor value if you are subscribing to a library you will browse twice. Take the trial, pay monthly first, ignore the upsells unless you set a budget for them in advance, and let your own behavior, not your enthusiasm on day one, decide whether the annual plan makes sense.
