Cometly Pricing, Who It's For and What to Expect Before You Book

Cometly is an ad attribution platform that now targets B2B SaaS teams. It publishes no price: cost depends on your monthly page views and is quoted on a sales call, there is no free trial, and fees are non-refundable under its terms. The only public figure is Core at $750 a month, on its affiliate page. Here is what can be verified and what cannot.

TL;DR

Cometly tracks which ads produce revenue, using its Comet Pixel and server-side events, and sends the conversions back to Meta, Google and other ad platforms. Its pricing page shows two plans, Core and Enterprise, with no dollar amounts: the price depends on monthly page views and is quoted on a call. Its affiliate page cites Core at $750 a month with 5 seats. There is no free trial, onboarding is a 60-day guided program, and fees are non-refundable under its terms. Cometly says it is built for B2B SaaS. It rates 4.8 on G2 from about 36 reviews and 3.6 on Trustpilot from about 90.

How Much Does Cometly Cost?

The pricing page shows two plans and no prices. Core is the full platform: pixel, server-side tracking, multi-touch attribution, the Conversion API, an AI ads manager, audiences and more than 70 integrations. Enterprise adds a dedicated solutions engineer, CRM and data-warehouse sync, an API, an MCP server for AI assistants and higher usage allowances. Both are sized to your monthly page views.

What you want to knowWhat Cometly publishes
The price of CoreNot on the pricing page. Quoted on a call. Its affiliate page says a typical Core signup starts at $750 a month with 5 seats included.
What the price depends onMonthly page views, where a page view is a tracked page load and a visit averages about 1.5
Monthly or annualBoth are offered; annual saves 20%; no annual commitment is required
If you go overNo throttling; you are warned at 90% and moved up a tier next billing period
Add-onsIts terms mention extra spaces, users and AI chat credits, with rates published elsewhere that we could not find
Onboarding feeThe pricing page does not state one

A note on the $750 figure: it comes from the page Cometly writes for its affiliates, and I am one of them, so treat it as a starting point rather than a quote. The page does not say whether it is the monthly-billed or annual-billed price. A competitor's blog post quotes higher tiers by number of sessions and a one-time onboarding fee; we could not find those figures on any Cometly page, so they are unconfirmed.

Why Do Old Articles Quote $199 and $499 for Cometly?

Because that is what its pricing page said in 2025. Cometly has changed how it sells at least twice in about fifteen months, and many comparison articles still carry the older numbers:

WhenWhat the pricing page showed
June 2025 (Internet Archive copy)Public plans: Lite from $199 a month for up to $10,000 of tracked ad spend ($18 per extra $1,000), Standard from $499 for up to $50,000 ($15 per extra $1,000), Enterprise above $100,000 of ad spend. A 14-day free trial.
December 2025 and February 2026 (Internet Archive copies)No prices. A form asking for your monthly ad spend, a demo button, and a trial offer in the menu.
September 2026 (live page)Core and Enterprise, sized to page views, no prices, no free trial, demo-led.

The practical lesson: a Cometly price in any article, including the $750 above, is a snapshot. Ask for the current price and get it in writing. Buyers on public forums have also complained that the company does not show pricing, so a quote request is part of the cost of evaluating it.

Does Cometly Have a Free Trial?

No. Cometly says it does not run a free trial because attribution only becomes useful once your CRM and ad platforms are connected, so it pairs you with a specialist instead. Purchase is through its sales team: its terms say all current plans are available exclusively by contacting sales and booking a demo. If you read an older article that mentions a 14-day trial, it is describing the mid-2025 pricing page.

Who Is Cometly For, and Who Should Skip It?

Cometly's homepage now leads with attribution "for B2B SaaS companies", tying every ad dollar to closed-won revenue. That is a change from the period when it was known among e-commerce and info-product advertisers, and it matters for how you read older reviews.

A good fit if

  • You sell B2B software, product-led or sales-led, and spend real money on Meta, Google, LinkedIn or similar ads.
  • Your sales run through a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Close, and you want ad spend tied to pipeline and closed deals.
  • You run ads for B2B SaaS clients as an agency and need one view across channels.
  • You can afford a sales process and a guided onboarding before you see data.

Skip it, for now, if

  • You run an e-commerce store with no CRM. Cometly's own documentation says pure e-commerce teams may get more from Shopify-native attribution tools.
  • Your ad budget is small. Cometly states no minimum, but discussions among media buyers often argue that attribution software rarely pays off at small budgets, where GA4 and server-side tagging can be enough.
  • You depend on phone calls. Cometly's public pages emphasize CRM, calendar and payment data; confirm call attribution before you book if calls are your main conversion.
  • You want to try before you talk to sales. There is no self-serve trial.

What Does Cometly Actually Do?

  • The Comet Pixel: a first-party, cookieless tracker installed with one script tag in the head of your pages. It identifies visitors by device characteristics and links sessions across devices, and it can capture name and email from standard form fields.
  • Server-side tracking and UTMs: events sent from your systems, plus URL parameters, to fill gaps the browser misses.
  • Multi-touch attribution: several models, including first touch, last touch, linear and U-shaped, with windows from one day to lifetime.
  • Conversion API: sends deduplicated conversions back to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and others so their algorithms optimize on fuller data. Cometly claims its customers' Meta match quality rises from a typical 4 out of 10 to 9.3; that is its own figure.
  • AI ads manager and Agent: bulk budget edits on several ad platforms, AI recommendations and plain-English questions about your data.
  • Enterprise extras: warehouse sync, an API and an MCP server that lets AI assistants query your data.

What it does not do

  • It does not backfill: attribution begins when the pixel is installed, and past data cannot be retrieved.
  • It only works with ad platforms that offer public APIs.
  • There is no native mobile app.
  • Its AI features rely on third-party language models, which its terms say.

What Does Cometly Integrate With?

The pricing page says both plans include unlimited connections to Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft, Reddit and Snapchat, including the server-side Conversion API. The integrations directory lists roughly 70 to 76 integrations depending on the page. A sample of what it lists:

  • Stripe
  • HubSpot
  • Close CRM
  • Salesforce
  • HighLevel
  • Calendly
  • Monday
  • Slack
  • Meta
  • Google Ads
  • Microsoft Ads
  • 70+integrations in total

Logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify tools that Cometly lists as integrations. They do not imply endorsement by those companies.

By category:

  • CRMs: HubSpot, Salesforce, Close, Attio, Pipedrive and HighLevel. If HighLevel is your CRM, see our HighLevel guide.
  • Payments and stores: Stripe, Shopify and WooCommerce.
  • Funnels and forms: ClickFunnels, Kajabi, Webflow and Calendly. If you sell with ClickFunnels, our coverage of Russell Brunson and his offers may help.
  • Automation: Zapier and webhooks.

A directory listing tells you the tool is supported, not how much data flows or how it is matched. Ask in the demo for your exact stack, and whether the ad platforms receive revenue events or only leads.

How Long Does Cometly Setup Take?

Cometly's help center describes the order: create your events, install and verify the pixel, set up form tracking, add URL parameters, connect your ad platforms, then turn on the Conversion API. Some specifics that change the effort:

  • The pixel goes on every domain and subdomain you want tracked.
  • An email field on your forms is the most important piece for matching leads to ads, and embedded iframe forms need special handling.
  • After an ad account connects, data takes roughly 30 to 60 minutes to appear.

Its onboarding page describes a 60-day program with a dedicated specialist and live setup calls, and says go-live is typically under a week for product-led companies and one to two weeks when a CRM is involved. Those timelines are Cometly's own. Some G2 reviewers mention that setup takes longer with a complex tech stack, so plan for your real stack, not the average one.

What Are Cometly's Contract, Cancellation and Refund Terms?

From the terms of service (last updated May 27, 2025) and the pricing page:

  • How you buy: current plans are available through its sales team after a demo.
  • Billing: monthly or annual, usually billed in advance. Annual saves 20%, and no annual commitment is required.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in billing settings; the subscription stays active until the end of the current period.
  • Refunds: all fees, including subscription, overage and add-on fees, are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or Cometly agrees in writing.
  • Custom agreements: if you sign a separate agreement, its cancellation and refund terms take priority.
  • Price changes: material fee changes need at least 30 days' notice.

The combination of no trial and no refunds means the evaluation happens before you pay. Use the demo to test your specific use case, ask for references in your industry, and get the price, term and add-on rates written into the order.

The full comparison, with contract terms and ratings, is in our HYROS guide. For Shopify stores, tools built for stores are the usual comparison; Cometly's own pages frame itself against them as the B2B SaaS option, and we have not tested either side.

Is Cometly Legit? What Do Users Say?

Cometly is a real company, founded in 2021 and based in Pennsylvania, with named customers on its site such as ClickFunnels and Trainual. In September 2026 it had 4.8 on G2 from about 36 reviews and 3.6 on Trustpilot from about 90, where 82% of reviews were five-star, 12% were one-star, and only four were posted in the previous twelve months. It has publicly disputed some older negative reviews; we could not verify either side.

What users like

  • Setup that reviewers call straightforward once events are defined.
  • Conversion data reaching Meta, with some reviewers reporting higher match scores.
  • Named support staff who resolve issues, according to several reviews.

What users complain about

  • Price and pricing transparency. The newest reviews on both sites mention price or changes in pricing.
  • Support response times, in older Trustpilot reviews from 2023 and 2024.
  • Cancellation and refund problems in some older reviews.
  • Documentation that does not match the current product, in one G2 review.

One caution: much of the older feedback dates from when Cometly served e-commerce and info-product advertisers. The product and the buyer have changed, so weigh recent reviews more, and ask for references from companies like yours.

Cometly: Common Questions

How much does Cometly cost?

Cometly does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists Core and Enterprise plans sized to your monthly page views and says pricing is quoted live on a call. The only dollar figure on cometly.com is on its affiliate page, which says a typical Core signup starts at $750 a month with 5 seats included. Annual billing saves 20%.

Does Cometly have a free trial?

No. Cometly says it does not run a free trial because attribution needs your CRM and ad platforms connected to be useful. In mid-2025 its pricing page offered a 14-day trial, so older articles may still mention one. Today you book a demo, and onboarding is a guided program rather than self-serve.

Who is Cometly for?

Cometly now presents itself as attribution for B2B SaaS companies, tying ad spend to pipeline and closed-won revenue in a CRM. Its own documentation says pure e-commerce teams with no CRM may get more from Shopify-native tools. Much older review content describes an earlier period when it served e-commerce and info-product advertisers.

What counts as a page view for Cometly pricing?

A page view is each page load tracked by the Comet Pixel or by server-side events. Cometly estimates a visit generates about 1.5 page views, so it sizes your plan at roughly 1.5 times your monthly sessions. If you pass your limit it does not throttle tracking; it moves you to the next tier at the start of the next billing period and warns you at 90%.

Can I get a refund or cancel Cometly?

You can cancel at any time in your billing settings and keep access to the end of the period you paid for, unless you signed a custom agreement with different terms. According to its terms, all fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. Read any order form carefully, because a signed agreement takes priority over the standard terms.

Is Cometly better than HYROS?

They fit different buyers. HYROS prices on tracked revenue and targets funnels, high-ticket and call-based sales for businesses spending at least $5,000 a month on ads. Cometly prices on page views and targets B2B SaaS teams that want ad spend tied to closed-won revenue. Our HYROS guide has a side-by-side comparison.

Does Cometly work with Shopify and HighLevel?

Both appear in Cometly's integrations directory, along with Stripe, WooCommerce, ClickFunnels, Kajabi, HubSpot, Salesforce and Close. Listing an integration does not show how deep it goes, so ask during the demo how your exact stack is connected and what data flows back to the ad platforms.

Is Cometly Worth It, in One Paragraph?

For a B2B SaaS company with real ad spend, a CRM and the patience for a sales process and a guided onboarding, Cometly is built to tie ads to closed-won revenue and feed those conversions back to the ad platforms. For everyone else, particularly small budgets, e-commerce stores without a CRM, or anyone who wants to try before talking to sales, it is hard to justify. Book the demo with your real stack in mind, and get the price, the term and the add-on rates in writing, because there is no trial and no refund.

How this was assessed: this page is based on Cometly's official pricing and product pages, its terms, public ratings on review platforms and the pages that currently rank for these searches, all read in September 2026. Cometly's pricing, terms, onboarding and help pages were read directly; its 2025 and early-2026 pricing pages come from Internet Archive copies. It is not a report from inside a paid account, and it does not claim to be.
