Voice AI

Answers phone calls on your HighLevel number, 24 hours a day: greets the caller, answers common questions, collects details, books into the calendar and sends a summary. For local businesses that lose customers to missed calls, this is usually the piece that matters most.

Reviews AI

Writes replies to Google and Facebook reviews in your tone, automatically or for approval.

Content AI

Writes emails, posts, blog articles and page copy, and generates images, inside the builder you are using.

Workflow AI and agents

Two costs sit outside the AI price: phone minutes for calls, at $0.01165 a minute inbound in the US, and SMS segments, at about one cent each with carrier fees. A Voice AI call pays both the AI minute and the phone minute.

What Changed in HighLevel Voice AI Pricing in May 2026?

Until May 2026, Voice AI was billed as a single per-minute rate. From 20 May 2026 the minute is split into parts: the AI engine at $0.045 a minute, plus the voice itself, $0.015 a minute for standard text-to-speech voices or $0.10 to $0.20 a minute for speech-to-speech voices, which sound more natural and react faster.

In practice, a call with a standard voice costs about $0.06 per AI minute plus the phone minute, about $0.07 in total. The same call with a premium speech-to-speech voice costs roughly $0.16 to $0.26 per minute. For a business taking 500 minutes of AI calls a month, that is about $36 with standard voices or $80 to $130 with premium ones. Most comparison articles still quote the old single rate, so check which voice your agent uses before you scale it.

Is the AI Employee Subscription Cheaper Than Paying Per Use?

It depends on volume. Here is our estimate for one sub-account, with the assumptions stated so you can redo it with your own numbers.

Conversation AI: assume each reply reads about 3,000 tokens (your instructions, knowledge and the conversation) and writes about 150. On GPT-5 that is about $0.005 per reply, or roughly $5 for 1,000 replies; on GPT-5 Mini, about $1. A large knowledge base or long conversations can multiply this several times.

Voice AI: 100 minutes with a standard voice is about $6 in AI charges.

Reviews AI: 100 review replies are $1.

On those assumptions, the usage the $50 Growth tier includes would cost well under $50 pay per use. The subscription pays off when you use a lot of Content AI, run many agents, use premium voices, have heavy conversations with large knowledge bases, or simply want a predictable bill.
